I don't think the NZ Public has an opinion on the NZDF, generally because of lack of exposure in the media and funding by the government, it isn't a big enough entity to warrant exposure, McDonalds has more employees in NZ for example. Come ANZAC day and you'll find the NZ Public is very much behind its defence forces past and present.

JJO117 and voidfighters you are both wrong NZ has if own camo its called NZ DPM and it is different to the UK DPM if you look at photo's the very first DPM we got was the UK stuff but over the years we have changed the pattern and colors for our liking and NZ does not use woodland. Woodland is a lot more solid shapes of colour's and is used for woodland areas and DPM (disruptive patterned material) is to be used in all green grassy environments which is why we use it because it suits all our co
