  • It will increase the number of muscle fibers activated, that is how plyometrics work. This increases force absorption as well, you do not have to jump afterwards and depending on the height of the box jumping afterwards is 100% useless. If you want just take a look at any high jumpers training on YouTube, look up "altitude" drops.

  • I need to dig out my Toxicity album now...

  • @Tiagor0drigues no he's not. it's not a depth jump, it's drop jump or depth drop

  • your suposed to jump after.

  • @Hearmeforblocks plyometric ability. has to do with tendons and ligaments. tighter tendons work better than loose ones. plyometric exercises focuses on that. like when you do a standing vertical you dont jump as high as when you run and do it because when you run you use your plyometric ability so plyometric exercises help you run faster, run higher, and all that good stuff. but doesnt work the muscles.

  • what is the point of that?

  • you seem to do a lot of leg training what is your vert? im sure its not what it used to be just curious because your exercises seem useful.
