A review of the Styloid Stylus from RadTech. The stylus can be used in place of a finger gesture on an iPhone and iPod Touch. The product may be ideal for those with limited dexterity or wearing gloves.

  • Nice review Mike. BTW what is your HR Battle tag?

  • I'm flaminiom, although I rarely play because I suck. LOL

  • Good review Mike.

Just one question: do you know if the styloid works with gloves or not? Because I know the iPhone digitizer works by direct contact with electrons from a persons finger or through something that conducts the electrons, like this stylus. However, when someone wears gloves I feel like it would block the electrons from flowing, thus leading to no response with from the iPhone. Can you possibly test this?

  • Good question. I tried it with a few different gloves and seems to work fine.

  • iPhone - No service... what a shocker

  • I record in my basement, and all phones get minimal reception down there.

  • Hardcandy stylus

  • It stops working after a while for some reason. I have to really press now. Makes it unusable now :/

  • and also you can used with a trackpad

  • Mike, does this work just as well on the ipad too?

  • @jshaw6000 there might be something electrical inside the stylus; touching the negative end of a battery to an iPhone screen makes it act like a stylus

  • What mic does Mike use? Its outstanding audio quality

  • good vid!

  • Great review as usual.

  • great review

  • Very nice review
