Eugene Jarecki describes how American history has been mislead by lies about the necessity to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end World War II. Jarecki wrote about this here - http://www.antiwar.com/orig/jarecki.php?articleid=9510

More recent facts have also come to light on this matter, summarized here: http://edge.org/q2008/q08_2.html#dysonf

  • It's so easytoday to critise the A bombs dropped on japan, these bombs saved millions of lives, , emperor was a war criminal as he personally approved of japanese aggression in china and knew of policies towards chinese civillians and pow,s. Politically it would have been suicide if truman didn't use the bomb and american lives were lost and it was later that the bombs were available, . As to the inventionof millions being lost read facts about fanatical japanese resistance

  • @RyanStileswliia

    watch?v=K8Wc-D5pVM8

This could be the cause of the war between Japan and China

a HIDDEN atrocity committed by Chinese against Japanese civilians.

    Iris Chan never mentioned this.

  • My grandfather, judge and World War 2 Pacific veteran, of the age of 92, has always told me that he won't apologize for the atomic bomb until Japan apologizes for its atrocities in Indochina, Nankning, and the deaths of thousands of American POWs.

  • @tvbones Ha! go get brainwashed by CNN dick head

  • Watch the Fog of War about MacNamara and the deliberate fire bombing of Japan by May.

  • dont kill jap god but kill all usa pow this is bs

  • Is it so hard to believe that the perceived positive influence of one version of history outweighs the importance of the actual history?

  • Yes. I know. Re-read my comment. I am saying that the title of the video- "Myth of America's use of the Atomic Bomb" SOUNDS like it was that-a myth. All I was suggesting was a different title that was clearer and unambiguous so as not to confuse it with a bullshit propaganda video (like those who believe the holocaust was a myth). I very much like Eugene Jarecki and want to read his new book "The American Way of War."
