how is it justifiable that people come over to someone elses country enslave them , change the countries name to there own ? Mugabe was no solution but Rhodesia was a racist country which prospered by using cheap native labour for the benefit of a few minority whites .Religion once again used to enslave people, when Christian missionaries came to Zimbabwe they said "your home is not here on earth but in heaven , whilst in the mean while taking land from the natives for themselves. .

My grandad fought for 7 years for the Rhodesian guard; finally came to England in 1998 when things down there got too tough. After a life spent working hard on the mines and fighting for freedom, he left his country with nothing more than a single suitcase. We buried him covered with a Rhodesian flag. May the sacrifice, turmoil and pain of the millions of Rhodesia never be forgotten: let the past inspire those in that country to fight for a brighter future.

The Phoenix program targeted Vc infrastructure it did not target innocent women and children.
Mai lai was the exception not the rule. There were 4,000 south veitnamesse killed in Hue alone.
The non communist vc found out just what they fought for when they were sent to reeducation camps just as the arvin were after 75.

There were hellish atrocities by all involved in the Vietnam War. Project Phoenix was not an insignificant operation!

Same kind of things were done by the vc and nva The american press chose not to pay attention to the fact that there attrocities far outnummbered thouse by americans. I wish rhodesia could come back and become a successful african nation.

Rhodesia- very sad story about beautiful country that was sacrificed to barbarians
Great video. The ending was very emotive with the music and the marching especially as we all know now how Rhodesia was betrayed and transformed into the hell that is Zimbabwe today.

My heart just cracks open every time I think back on our wonderful homeland. We were not perfect but nobody gave us a chance to show who we as a nation really were; black and white we stood for high ideals that few in the '1st' world emulate today. I am totally proud to be Rhodesian. We had the best country ever and I see we have even had the weather there voted the best in the world.
