I lost my dad in 1986 to cancer and alcoholism. He was never around when I was growing up, due to his Navy career. I wasn't there when he died but I was there when we said goodbye at Arlington National Cemetery. I since found out he never left, he lives in my heart and always will.

@xxtazrulzxx i know how you feel, i was living in new mexico when my dad died in kentucky i never got to say goodbye, for years i hated that, then i realized he never really left, cause i am a part of him as he was apart of me, although his earthly shroud may be cast away the real reason he was here anyway was me, i am sorry for your loss
