Spring has sprung in East Sussex, the honeybees are already busy gathering pollen and nectar from the Spring Flowers in our Garden Valley.
Please do tarry a little while to watch how the bee fills the pollen sacs on the back legs, as it visits my crocuses, during another brief window of sunlight in the early afternoon of Saturday 14th March 2009.
To perfect this depiction of the symbiosis between the Honeybee, gathering food, and the crocuses, which in return are pollinated, once again I have added a lovely piano piece composed and played by Isisip, titled "The Lover's Kiss".
I do hope that you enjoy this little taste of a Sussex Springtime.
I planted crocuses this past fall and am excited for the March when they'll bloom! I also hope to catch a few bumblebees visiting them. Beautiful music as well!

Beautiful video ; I've seen that my own crocuses are coming out : they should be in bloom in a couple of weeks now. I've made photos of my garden in summer but this year I will make photos and videos in spring as well.
I'm longing for spring.

Very nice! I love the purple and white striped crocuses...they're my favorite spring flowers. The snow here in central NY is finally almost gone and it's warming up a bit, so our crocuses should be in bloom before long. :)
