An anthem of all-girl 80's punk band, Tetes Noires, "Lucky Girl" was written by lead singer Jennifer Holt and filmed by Thomas Gerard in 1985. A sarcastic commentary on misogyny, the song features such lyrics as "gosh but it's nice to be a girl and live in this enlightened world; my mother says i'm lucky; my father says i'm lucky; i guess i'm just a lucky girl. barbie dolls were my best friends; adultery was their favorite sin, and scooter isn't lucky; skipper isn't lucky, I wonder where my barbie's been?" • what the hell......

  • I can fap to this

  • This is pleasant enough in its own right, but it's not remotely punk. And yeah, I'm well aware that punk isn't all thrash and mohawks and leather and blahblahblah, but neither is it lightweight synthpop. For serious all-woman punk bands of the '80s, check out Tozibabe, Ruggedy Annes or Dolly Mixture. Different sounds, different ideas, but all punk bands.

  • top drawer!! "finger nail polishhh!!!"
