I remember seeing ESPN do SportsCenters of both the 1970's and 1980's, but I don't believe they ever used this logo.

Correction I think John Tesh did a version of this, I know Vangelis was before.

I remember this theme being played on NBC's coverage of the Tour de France, I think John Tesh is the artist.
