This video shows how I sew suede line leather rifle slings on a walking foot sewing machine. The machine is a National 300N, which is very similar to a Consew 206RB. I am using #138 bonded nylon thread and a #22 (140) leather point needle. The motor is a SewPro 500GR servo motor, with built-in 3:1 gear reduction and a 2" pulley. The total thickness is almost 3/8" where the tail joins the body. This machine can sew up to 7/16" under the pressor feet.
