How to disassemble a 1911 Springfield GI A-1. Mine is a Stainless Steel piece that has been polished.

  • Ok yeah you commented on my 1911 and you said yours was polished, that looks clean as hell, I want mine just like that so is it plated or polished how did you do it?

  • @mnieto311 I bought it already polished. I'll have to ask the guy how and where he had it done. But I asked my girlfriends dad, who used to be a gun smith, and he said that all they did was had it buffed. But it sure does shine.
