A circular walk from Keswick in the Lake District via Derwentwater, Ashness Bridge and the summit of Walla Crag. The walk took place on Saturday 20 September 2008.
Nice vid. This brings back memories. I visited Keswick way back in 1999 (I remember going to the pencil museum, lol). The landscape looks pretty much unchanged since I was last in Keswick, thank goodness! The Lake District is such a nice place.
Really enjoyed the views. I recently visited Keswick and covered a few hills near Derwent Water, a very enjoyable walk and my first in the Lake District.
This is a really lovely walk from either direction. Not to difficult for the less able, and some fantastic views! I took my partner on this walk for her first experience of the "fells"
