  • This looks brilliant, and full of passion too.

Without the budget I'm still confident you can pull off a production that nails both the unique atmosphere and story of Silent Hill!

  • @2QUAR3D Hey thanks, alot. We are doing all we can with the shoestring budget. We are going about it cautiously. The least we can do is capture the tone of the game and do it justice with all things considered. I hope people will appreciate it. The film run time is rounding off to 15-20 mins. SH2 is layered. And complex. Obviously, not all of it could fit. We focused on KEY elements that focus on the game's core. In the future, I'd love to "sequel" it to tackle more of the complexities.

  • Wouldn't it be nice to have the budget that some of these large scale, mediocre Hollywood directors have? You guys dressed this up very nice, which makes me even more excited to see it!

  • @NicoNegron We are doing our best. Thanks, ALOT.

  • @jaynessvideo Yes, I agree. I was a little upset at seeing Pyramid Head aka Red Pyramid in the movie, because it didn't make much sense. Pyramid Head is tied to the emotion of a guilty conscience that desires punishment, and it was James' own creation. A film based off the first game wouldn't need him, since Harry wasn't in Silent Hill because of guilt and repressed memories. But its true we both know why they did it, because of his popularity haha. It's a shame they did that in a way.

  • @jaynessvideo Oh, and we are working on releasing it through a very well known distributor via youtube. I'm sure you've heard of them, especially if you're a gamer. Though I can't say anything until the contract is complete!

  • @nozomi90 - thank you for being excited. We too, would love to see a feature film based on Silent Hill 2. Though they've used some of the most important elements of SH2 already in the motion pictures! I understand why the Red Pyramid makes his appearance in the films. For fans. But we all know that he is tied to James Sunderland's character. I feel that if they were to make a film based on SH2 NOW, a lot of the symbolism/sincerity behind SH2 have been used or lost in these first two films.

  • @heeropat It's coming VERY SOON. Our is around the month of March or so ... first quarter of 2012! Thanks for the support!

  • @ThePs3GamingExperts Me too! I can't wait until it's done. We're releasing it first quarter 2012. My guess is March, right around the release of Downpour, we'll be able to release this thing!

  • @KimaYamara Thanks for the support! Actually, I had no intentions of the bogeyman being tall - We wanted to draw strict influence from Silent Hill 2, not the feature film. This is very much the Silent Hill 2 Bogeyman. Thanks again! The film is wrapping up nicely. Visual effects are still being tweaked, as well as audio. You can expect to see it first quarter 2012, most presumably March!

  • the one thing i see is your bogeyman is quite small compared to you, im pretty sure he's intended to be 7-8 feet tall though i could see the potential problem finding an actor for the part for a non profite low budget film, either way looks good ill enjoy watching it

  • I wanna watch this so bad!
