well for one thing most people are glorifying the guitar too much .......with out bass in my point of view most songs would sound flat .....so kudos skelbassist nice cover

I find it amusing when people see players like this and say "Why dont you play guitar?"...Because we play BASS!!! Believe it or not, instruments do not play themselves or dictate how they should be played...Tapping can be done on bass as well as guitar and there's too much of it on guitar anyway.
Go ask Stefan Fimmers "Why dont you play guitar"

out of curiousity, why bass? You do some impressive stuff that could probably utilize the skill better on guitar. but a chunky bass is always good.

@bbeaup Various reasons. Biggest thing is that the pick and me have never gotten along and that I just love the sound/feel of the bass.
