from the old one on N. 7 th St in Phoenix, AZ.
Produced by James D. Musil, as in JD's club at the
Scottsdale/Tempe riverbottom.
Waylon's first album ..."JD's waylon jennings."
Waylon Jennings, Gerald Gropp, Paul Foster, and Richard Albright.
On this album.
"Money" Lead vocal Gerald Gropp.
"Abilene" Paul Foster & Gerald Gropp.
"Lorena" Lead vocal Paul Foster -song time- 2:18.

On 2000 album "The Restless Kid live at JD's."
"Lorena" -song time- 4:35 is sung by Waylon.

  • Waylons version is on the 2000 album ''The Restless Kid at JD's''... this is not to be compared, it is just the version that was on Waylons debut album Thx Ray tc my friend

    Dec. 22 1965 Jan. 2 1966: Heavy rains flood the regularly dry Salt River through Phoenix. All roads crossing the Salt River in Tempe, Phoenix and Scottsdale are washed out. ... JD's club is flooded and closed for 3 weeks.....

    ...1966..Waylon now recording in Nashville, Paul didn't want to travel so Tommy played bass on the road.....

  • I had to think hard about putting this one up, My friend Jim helped by providing the information which kinda justified it after all it does appear on Waylon's debut album.
