child beauty pageants is really just a form of child exploitation. some of these kids choose to do this from the support of the parents and at other times, they are being forced to do this. feeding such unnatural confidence with makeup and prizes isn't the best way to teach them to get what they want. I think a child should learn what it means to be hardworking and what it means to get what they want from their looks.
