WHLO 640 AM WRQK 106 9 FM HD2 HD radio audio 3 10 09

A local Newstalker went HD by means of a no so local FM sister station. WHLO 640 AM can be heard on 106.9 WRQK HD-2. Problem is, they're 20 air miles away, Problem solved after 3 hours of indoor dipole antenna placement and orientation tests. It kinda works well considering there's only -61.1 dBu field strength of ANALOG carrier to grab from and -80dBu of DIGITAL!. All of the other junk lets me boost the signal on a vacant FM channel so I can hear it on my personal stereo. This clip DOES feature actual audio showcasing the AM post sunset power (500W on AM) , versus the clear HD-2 audio of WRQK which is all or nothing in this case SOLID. Hard work does pay off! The window faces WEST the signal is coming from the SOUTH (south southeast)!
