Proud

From the "Talk, Listen, Connect" Sesame Street videos, Elmo walks right past his Dad as he is coming home from the Army. Dad and Elmo sing "Proud"......Kevin Clash called me about writing music for this project and the next morning I came up with this song in about 10 minutes....just seemed to always be there and all I had to do was record it....one of my favorites :) sometimes I get lucky........you can watch the full videos here: http://www.sesameworkshop.org/initiatives/emotion/tlc look under "deployments" to the right :)

For some reason, the idea of a Muppet in the Army gives me a mental image that's a cross between "Miss Saigon" and "Avenue Q".
