I would LOVE to see stats on how many people kill themselves every year due to under-treated pain. This is a serious problem in America and the abuse CP receive at the hands of the DEA and undereducated/naive doctors and medical professionals is unwarranted and a human rights travesty. Thank you so much for spotlighting this important issue that is often misunderstood.

I think we can all agree that our common enemy is an out of control agency-DEA. Why they have decided to go after doc's , using their supposedly limited resources to attack pain patients who suffer and have very little quality of life , instead of using all their resources against the mexican mafia and other gangs that have turned Mexico and southern Texas into a virtual killing fields.  Maybe they are protecting "Asset's" in Afghanistan-Northern Alliance War Lords, Poppy Growers?

By going after Docs who don't shoot, don't threaten your family or follow your little girl home from school like the REAL drug dealers do. "I can't risk my license for a patient!". the exact words the 'head of rheumatology at NC (Chapel Hill),using me as a teaching aid for a his students (in my underwear w/o warning) & giving me a script for 800mg motrins (knowing I was bleeding internally from 16+ yrs of ANSAIDS). After learning 20,000 people died that year from long term ANSAID usage, the script he had written was basically a death certificate. He was too much of a coward to write a 'real' script to help my pain.useless (rich) AH
