My Beehive in a 3-parts concrete brick. This is a native stingless bee known as Jataí(Portuguese), Yateí(Spanish). The Scientific name is Tetragonisca angustula.

  • Cool never seen this before. I must learn more about this. We have little Mason and Orchard bees and we just drill holes in wood for them.

  • Hello, is this the widespread bee that is known under popular names like jataí, angelita, virgencita, ramichi, and españolita in Latin America. Honey is used as a pure remedy.

  • Very nice bees: is this in Brazil? It is called 'ramichi' in Peru.
