I grew up listening to Loso alot. My family always played his songs when people came over. Even on my birthdays theyd play his songs in the basement. Lol, I kinda grew attached to old thai songs since they've become party of my childhood.

It's somewhat true and not. I'm thai and white born and raised in Thailand. The Hi-so (high society) thai people do look down on poor people which are typically the people of loas descent. But if you are a poor thai person they tend not to look down on laotians. My family are pretty well off in Thailand and I never look down on laotians or cambodians. I had friends from the isaan province.
