Still not sure what Alex is up to, but it seems to possibly be this: he's part of the theater, and the role he plays is to get people indignant. He is constantly exposing the abuse but he stops there. He doesn't focus on the solutions, only the problems. The intent is to get us riled up. To what end?

we all know alex has a big mouth, but he really should shut it on this interview and let this man speak. this is the kind of interview where you don't need an interviewer. the man has enough knowledge and stories that he doesn't need someone probing.
