I don't know what these rants are about, but it seems natural for people to stick up for a favourite artist if they disagree with criticisms. What totally baffles me is why some Australians find it so important to put down our own artists. Other countries don't use the various TV shows as an insult but celebrate the talent they sometimes uncover.

@thegrandmasteryoda He was on Australian Idol a few years back - came 2nd I believe (might be wrong), but is forging a pretty good career on the back of it..

Fair enough to stick up for your favourite person who sings this song, but remember that "This is the Moment" sung by Callea here is not in context with the show. When Warlow or (God forbid) Hasslehoff sings it, it's to do with Jekyll and Hyde. Callea has made this work for him with his own meaning behind it.

Great voice! Though American Idol is not right for some people, I would recomend that you try out.

roeltiesmoeltie, I totally agree, Anthony inspired me, From I I Agree, From Don GioVanni to This is the moment there is a long way, I am trying to sing popular music, it is my new challenge, nevertheless at the end at the performance many lyric manners were used, I couldnt help it, It sounded good, but not exactly what I wanted, still I am enjoying the whole thing a lot.
