  • I am having issues with my 3D tab on CS5...IT'S NOT THERE....I have enabled openGL drawing in preferences but i just cant see the tab...I have CS5(64bit) extended, win7 6 core, 16gig ram, nvidia 1 gig graphics card. Any idea how the hell i can get my 3D tab to show so i can uses it..

    Thanks

  • @Dean66Essex Are you certain it's CS5 Extended? I had the same issue recently. I installed Photoshop Extended and for some reason the standard version was installed instead. Look at the title of Photoshop when you load it up and see if it says "Photoshop CS5" instead of "Photoshop CS5 Extended."

  • if I took a Picture of lets say the ocean and mad some bad ass 3D text how would I make it look like it was half submerged into the water.

  • @crankman33 The best way I can think to accomplish that is through masking. Just place your 3D text where you'd like it to be and then using your awesome masking skills to hide the bits that should be underwater =)

  • At 5:42 how did you choose the gradient color? When I took some samples like you did and I went to the exact place but I couldnt choose the samples that ive took :( There is just the default one (black and white instead of green and light green the I choose)

  • @Newmilol That first thumbnail should match your foreground and background colors by default... If not, then just change click on the gradient and change the slider colors to the ones you want =)

  • @Snookify I'm sorry, but I think I speak for all of YouTube when I say that nobody particularly cares that you're the first, second, and third person to comment...

  • @dacitizenonline You don't have to switch to the transform tool, just move your cursor away from the text until the icon changes from the I shape to the arrow, and then you can click and drag =)

  • What a great Tutorial.. Nice!! i understand all! THANKS :))

  • It says that as long as the limits are exceeded, 3D rendering will be done in software only and some features???.... Can u please explain me this..??

  • My 3d text layer didn't work....

  • @75pietro the object tool moves or rotates the object actualy, but the camera tool just changes the view while the objects remain at place.

  • rendering process is such a curse.

  • @shsharaf3000 It does work on 64bit systems, i just needed the correct license key from adobe. Thanks anyway...

  • @Dean66Essex

I think you need to run the 32 virsion , as Adobe installs 2 virsions of photoshop on a 64bit system. the 3D is only working for the 32 bit virsion ( not the 64bit)

  • @ChChCheckItsClan Thanks for your help..Adobe being asses sent me a standard serial when i paid for an extended...All sorted now tho, i didnt realise it was supposed to say EXTENDED on the loading screen...adobe say this sometimes happens lol...YEAH RIGHT!! . thanks again, have a safe 2012
