These war campaigns wouldn't be possible without participants. Speak to the younger generations. Explain to them why signing up for the military is immoral. Provide better options.

Absolutely right, great speaker, I ache when I think of people who have served in these aggressions only later to realize the great crimes and murderous campaigns they took part in. I can imagine myself emotionally obliterated realizing that. I don't know if I would be strong enough to endure it and act on it in such a healthy productive manner as Ellsberg.

In these times of apathy and fear we rely on heroes who have the courage to speak the truth. But the problems of this world will never be solved until human consciousness is raised to such a degree that every criminal and exploiter will be faced by mass defiance and mass action immediately if they try anything.

I've never heard a modern-day anti-war message put so clearly, eloquently, and convincingly. Daniel Ellsberg, you're my new hero.
The only thing I would add is that the experience of war 'savages' those who are brutalized with the atrocities, as well as 'makes savages' of those who commit the brutal acts, order the acts to be committed, or stand by silently not opposing them.
The murder of ANY individual is a crime against humanity. No one has that right, incl. governments
