A study done on perception and stigma of mental illness with students from the University of St. Thomas. Produced by Jenna Palermo, Erin Hillegas, and Stephanie Edquis.
Hey, thanks for making this video. There is a lot of truth in it. More people suffer from mental illness than most people realize. My view of mental illness was definitely affected by the stigma, but when I realized that I really needed help there were people here on campus who were genuinely concerned with my wellbeing. Thanks to their help I'm doing much better now. If you even suspect that you or one of your friends needs help, don't wait to seek it out. Please don't wait until it's too late!
If you watch this video it would be great to hear your comments--especially if you are a St. Thomas student. Let us know what you learned and if you liked it. Thanks!
Well done
