  • Watching CSPAN. The GOP looks as if they are trying to educate the American public. They know their stuff.

The Dems? Not so much. A rah-rah campaign speech from them all.

Slaughter sort of looks like Helen Thomas. Creepy woman.

  • He compered medicare and social security to this bill? I think some one should point out to John Larson that those are utter failures.

  • Social Security faces unfunded liabilities of more than $15.8 trillion. And while that sounds like a lot of money, it is dwarfed by Medicares looming budget shortfall of between $50 and $100 trillion, depending on which accounting measure is used. Because of its funding mechanisms, Medicaid does face the same type of accounting shortfalls, but it will soon add hundreds of billions of dollars to federal, not to mention state, spending. Good luck democrats!

  • They finally succeeded in destroying Us.

  • The supporters of this think all you have to do is commit a magical incantation to paper vote on it and sign it and it remakes reality.

  • @davidrjin 'Some one' would be in error.

  • LOL I can't believe people think this won't have a devastating effect on the country! Um....we can't afford it! The Dems won't address cost! If you can't afford something you're in debt, do you think running behind something that will add even more debt is a smooth idea? You can't even have a conversation with a supporter of this thing once you bring up cost. They will just keep repeating stuff they overheard. lol The Dems haven't given them enough information to think, so they don't.

  • I can't wait for financial reform to become an issue.

The polls on health care are muddled to say the least. But, the GOP can't use their new talking point and pretend to be on the side of the American people on that issue.

  • Yeah your gonna make HISTORY alright.

BEING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF IT!

  • darn right, the American people don't want this bill, there's a reason we can't get through on the phone lines....we don't want communism, we don't want forced reparations, we don't want dictatorship, we don't want economic implosion, Kill the Bill!
