'Jai Karnataka' is a salute to the state and an acknowledgement and celebration of our state's achievements in the last 53 years. The objective of 'Project Jai Karnataka' is to address the state and promote its patriotic spirit by celebrating the diverse and vibrant colours of Karnataka. It is a tribute to the state, which focuses on Karnataka Legends those made the State proud in their respective arenas be it Sports or Music and the youth from Gen Next.
The album has been conceptualized by Naveen k, and highlights the diversity of Karnataka in terms of language, culture, race and musical styles. Young Musicians, Praveen, Sandeep and Sharath have directed the music, Creative lyrics by Sharath, Supported by Mr. Inayath Ali Khan of Habib Industries and visuals directed by Sharath assisted by J.Rohit have lent their creativity in making the album.
The video has been shot from bidar in the north to chamrajnagar in the south and from Mangalor in the West to Kolar in the east, includes stars from kannada film industries like Dr Vishnu varshan , shivaraj kumar ,prem .Singers like Dr SP Balasubramanyam , C Ashwath ,Creative Stalwarts like Ms Gangubai Hanagal, Shri Puttaraj Gawai, folk artist Daroji Hiramma, muicician Gurukiran,Veteran Journalist Patil Putappa, Krishna Varttam, literatures chandrashekar kambar and Bargur Ramachandrappa, , ex DG and IG Police Mr Srikumar, Flautist Praveen Godkhandi, Noted Painter B K S Verma, Cricketer Sunil Joshi, Robin uthappa Lyricist Jayanth Kaikini, sports ,World Billiards Champion Pankaj Advani, robin uthappa , and danseuse Maya Rao have appeared in this video album. It's a path breaking visual treat that captures the joy of patriotism that countrymen express even through their diversity.
