eno himself has stated that the title comes from the fact that the guitar sounds like a tuned jet engine, something he referred to as 'warm jet guitar'. however i have heard that the lyrics themselves describe urination

Thank you for the post...the music is what matters...its nice to background information but all in all it's how the tune makes you feel..and if it's happiness there should not be quibbling or name calling...just happiness for the beauty the music created for the moment...and thanks to the man who created it and again for the posting

@tigereyes258 The whole album is great, just sometimes You need to listen to it a few times for the music to really sink in. But that's usually a good way to have things, I'd rather spend time getting into something than liking it right off then getting tired of it just as fast.

Calm down, everyone. If you look at the cover of the album, which I bought when it was first released on vinyl, you will see in the small picture that the girl is bending over & urinating. (It is the framed one in front of Eno, for those who have trouble seeing) This is the warm jet !

Also, ragging someone out for their race is just not cool. Nor is having a go back when you cannot do so without swearing. Rise above it. Just rise above it.
