Nice playing and GREAT tone, but I guess years of conditioning have programmed me... it just looks weird to see it coming from an instrument about the size and shape as a Fender Telecaster. Visually, it's almost like when bass is played by a keyboard, it just doesn't look like the instrument to make that sound, you know?
I guess I'll get over it though.
Again, nice playing and great tone. Looking forward to more.

Hi, does anyone know if this "upright sound" would be achievable with some other acoustic bass using similar LaBella strings ?
And if the 30" scale is a factor here or not.

It has a very as i would describe, 'rubber band' bassy sound, great for this type of fingerstyle i think =)
