I like your videos. You work really hard and that is inspiring me and my friend to create a electric car conversion

I'm really impressed by how hard you work on your car! You're really non-stop, and you won't settle for anything less than great! I love watching your series, and it's really been a lot of help on my electric car conversion!

I'd still check and see if the 5 door wagon might have heaver rear spring rating.
what is the white bottle in the engine compartment for? Sorry for all the questions

The white bottle is a vacuum tank. A small 12V air pump pulls air out of the bottle, which is connected to the brake master cylinder. That runs the power brakes. A vacuum switch on the tank turns the pump off when it has sucked enough vacuum.

Just wondering have you put a clutch on this car or are you just timing the shifts?
fordescort98 3 years ago
No clutch at all! It is surprisingly easy to shift this electric car without one. It does take just a tad longer - 2 seconds to shift instead of half a second. No big deal. Works fine!
