awesome video but which iso do you download

@Plob94 I might include some Windows 2008 server howto's some time in the future. No promises. But in answer to your question, google for the term "shatter attack foon" and after reading Foon's article, ask yourself why you would want to use Windows?

@Plob94 because windows is the OS of the devil! Open nix is the bawss

@clubpenguin5556 Netinstall is always the best choice !

but then that breaks backwards compatibility with all those wonderful windows applications.

@Plob94 It is the second listing in the search for "shatter attack foon" (without the quotes). There is also an informative article at Wikipedia. The "shatter attack" reveals a fundamental securiity problem with all versions of Windows (newer versions have greatly improved), but the user now does what the api should have been doing all along (verify security for message passing). Thus windows is one giant and perpetual security hole. The only way to fix it, is to rewrite the api.

@timotheosh1 What article wtf are you talking about?!??

Why would u use CentOS when you have Microsoft Windows???
I wish the CENTOS FAGGOTS would take the time to publish a list of WHAT. THE. FUCK. each CD does have. Not all of us have fast connections, so, if these FAGGOTS told us what each CD has, it would make life so much easier. As the time of this writing, there is no way to figure this out. How hard is it to do ls -l >> CDCONTENTS.TXT and including it in the download folder?? HUH? Not very.

@YoLninYo As a general rule of thumb for any kind of UNIX server install, always install the bare minimum. Never more. Then install only the services you need to run on your server. Given this lil' rule of thumb, you should never need more than the first disk to install CentOS. Install the rest with Yum

@YoLninYo If your bandwidth is so horrible, you cannot download the other packages you need for your server, then I guess the answer is always going to be either download the DVD iso's all at once or pay a CD vendor to burn and ship the CD's. See the CentOS website for their sponsored CD vendors.
