So I made this video more of a dedication / tribute to The Rev, the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold. Ive learned a lot of my drumming from him and it saddens me that his talent is no longer with us. I Wont See You Tonight has always been one of my favorites. I learned it today cuz I thought it would go nicely with this video. Dont comment about me messing up or whatever. Thats not what this video is about. You will be missed Jimmy. One of the best drummers in todays time. Rest In Peace.

@lifeishardboy121 ya thats kind of y this video feels rushed to me and isnt right on as far as timing and its a little iffy cuz i learned it that day cuz i thought itd be a nice song for a tribute. but i wanted this video to be more about the rev and not me and how he inspired me and thousands of others! cant believe its been a year today :( RIP

Dude, Your a fuckin loser. TOOLdrummer made this video for The Rev because he was an inspiration to him. There is absolutely nothing wrong with tributes. I myself have made tributes to Living guitarist because they inspired me to pick up a guitar and play the music that I love. All a tribute does is show respect to the one it is dedicated. It's the narrow minded people like yourself that I hate. Because you don't see past your own BS to realize the world lost an amazing drummer. Damn.

man... I know it's been awhile since he passed, but every time I hear his beats it's always a mix of sadness and awe. The world lost a truly incredible drummer and person, but Jimmy will always live on through the masterful music he made.

It's people like you that keep James alive in many hearts. The way you play his music in all your videos shows so much fulfillment and joy. I started drumming when I was in sixth grade. I fell head first into it and didn't stop for about a year. Now, about 6 years later, I recently watched one of your A7x covers and have fallen right back into drumming. I went straight out the next day and bought a double bass pedal and haven't stopped playing since. Thank you for reviving my love of drumming!
