  • I can't undestand why they eat animals alive pain tastes so good?

  • what is the different if they chop the head off and throw it away? will it still fresh without head? or the head just for decoration? it fucking disgusting to eat a living creature with the mouth still moving weather it alive or just muscle twitching. You fucking people are making us "asian" living in USA look bad. We"asian" here are misjudged by other races bc of this kind of shit...

  • Mmmm a bite full with pain, agony and despair. Why wouldn't you want that.

    Thanks but NO thanks

  • @faylinameir I'm from Hong Kong so I think its fair to say that i'm pretty close to both styles of cuisine considering HK is more of an international than national city.

apart from shrimp crab and eel all sushi made from sea creatures are raw here as it is in Japan. I guess its a difference in culture. Cultural differences never cease to intrigue me ! :]

  • @viet2day You're not Japanese so you have nothing to worry about.

  • I am Japanese, I have long thought this is one good way to eat fish, and one part of Japanese culture. Therefore, I was not against live sushi.

But as I wrote below, live sushi is just a tourist attraction, and not a good way to eat fish. Rather live sushi tastes worse than normal sushi.

Maybe live sushi requires an elaborate knife technique. But as far as I have searched on the Net, sushi chefs all seem to be able to do this.

All in all, I think this live sushi is not worth protecting.

  • @leg0man01 I live in the united states in nebraska. The town I live in has maybe 12 sushi places, but only one authentic place (as I said in last post) and one semi authentic place, and while they have decent sushi, they unfortunately like to tend more to the america pallet. I AM american, and unfortunately not asian at all LOL but my diet is probably 99% asian culture type foods, with the other 1% spread worldwide. I just think Japanese and Chinese food tastes better! =) (without the MSG)

  • @faylinameir I'm just curious and obviously you don't have to disclose this information to me, but do you live in Japan? apart from prawn, crab and eel I've never heard of cooked sushi before.

and yes, you don't want low quality raw fish. that would make you sick very quickly!

  • @soff224 it's the freshness. full of nutrition.

  • @leg0man01 sadly where I live most people DO eat sushi made from cooked fish only. Its hard to find a decent sushi place here, but ironicly the sushi place owned and run by actual Japanese people, serve top quality RAW fish =D, not exactly cheap, but then again, you don't wanna be eating low quality fish raw, so I'm willing to pay the money.
