WTS New Walk Museum Butterfly

Watch This Space took a tour with a difference around New Walk Museums' basement. Home to thousands of butterflies and a two-headed lamb, the basement is a treasure trove of artefacts and curios. The research period allowed Watch This Space to take a journey into the world of taxidermy, hidden away collections and natural history. The project talked to the people behind the scenes and opened the drawers that hide some of natures best kept secrets. It was all about finding out how these creatures met their re-makers, in this exciting new work on Leicesters' very own New Walk.
