thank god for the rs540 motors, if the sport wasnt as desireable as it is today, we would be using the wimpy 380 motors with a top speed of 8mph! i dont remember much of the early rc cars but i think they are 10 times better as far as reliability goes. yaa, theyre slower and heavier, but thats where it all started. :)

@416honda Yeah the new stuff has gotte pretty good. The radios without crystals thing still blows my mind frequency hopping spread spectrum is awesome !

lmao. I'll take the new stuff all day long. I have a Slash 2wd that I bought when they first came out. I've since converted it to brushless, and so far, I've only ever broken one drive shaft and stripped a spur gear -- and the truck almost 5 years old!!! Wheelies on command, 20+ minute run times, and waterproof!!!! Welcome to the future.

I had a Marui Big Bear that used to own the Blackfoot.. When I got my Big bear I set the blackfoot on fire and druk it around the yard with the Big Bear.
