  • I'm as busy as a bee all the time, because I'm a working mom, and I have two toddlers.

I have a bee in my bonnet, too. It's all about the big exam in July, which I must pass in order to get a job as a qualified English teacher.

And I'm almost 22. I can say I've got an old head on young shoulders, right? :D

  • I will be taught by a bee!

I will BEEE taught by a BEEEEE!!!!!!

  • Fantastic video and yes I have a bee in my bonnet about keeping the door of my flat closed.

    Greetings from Spain.

  • I'm really impressed by your lesson. You re the most interesting teacher I ve ever seen. the bee idioms related to lovely bees that are very commom and useful to human life. The bees work and live in an well organized society even better than human society, so I hope you will give more bee idioms to learners. thank you again!

  • yeah, the lesson is the bee's knees. I've started to addict to ur lesson :) Certainly, i've been busy as a bee. coz i sometimes do the things at the last minute. Then i have to hurry up in order to catch the deadline;) sometimes i have a bee in my bonnet aswell, I'm always easy to get worried about sth, not so good though.

  • BTW, I forgot to answer the question.

Yes, sometimes I'm busy as a bee - especially when I'm going to travel somewhere and I have one day to buy everything I need and to do all the things I should do.

I sometimes have a bee in my bonnet, for example when a situation worries me and I talk about it with my frineds all the time

  • I'm also interested if these idioms are often used. When I read something in English on the sites, I rarely meet many idioms. I think it would be useful to mention how often some idioms are used and where (in Britain or the USA).

I'w like to say thanks to this Teacher - he is a great actor! It's so funny and at the same time useful to watch these lessons! Great!

    Maria from Moscow, Russia

  • Interesting. I *think* that in current United States English the second two idioms are rarely used. But Americans who have watched a little BBC will recognize them, even if they sound old fashioned. I wonder whether Brits consider the second two idioms to be old fashioned.
