Hannah "Coach Fuji" Smith, Jr. Staff Member of youth organization, Teen Pulse, challenged 7th and 8th grade Generation 1 members to think outside themselves and not only recognize, but be grateful for the gifts and services they have been given in life... and then express gratitude for them.
As the president of Yucaipa High School's 9th grade campus Diversity Council, Hannah Smith received an opportunity to experience a "Rachel's Challenge Presentation" where she was inspired to "start a chain reaction of kindness."
She began this "Chain Reaction" by sharing her experience with the young adults of Teen Pulse and then in turn, challenging THEM... thus continuing the ripple effect throughout millions of lives that was sparked not by Rachel Joy Scott, but by those who touched HER life, and those who touched theirs.
Hannah Smith is attributed for constantly stating, "Mama always said, 'We're all put on this Earth to help each other'," and it shines through in all that she does. We have all been touched by the ripple of life and it is our duty to pass our gifts on to others as a means of saying, "Thank you," to those who have given so generously to us. We may not be able to change the entire world... But we most certainly can leave the world around us in a better state than when we found it.
THE SOUL OF TEEN PULSE: CONTINUING THE RIPPLE BY PASSING ON ALL WE HAVE RECEIVED AND BEYOND!
Thank you to people like Rachel Joy Scott and Mama for passing on THEIR gifts, opportunities, lessons, talents, and insights to people like Coach Fuji who, in turn, pass them on to people like those in Teen Pulse... who then say "Thank you" to people like the lunch lady..... Thank You.
"I KNOW it will make their day... and it might just make their life." ~Hannahbelle Smith
