It's unfortunate that many, many of Prince's BEST songs are practically unknown, except to his hardcore fans. A lot of people don't even know how many songs he wrote for other people either!

I am often amazed that songs buried in albums that never even were intended for radio play are often among the very best stuff Prince did over and over. He was and remains so far ahead of the game.....the record companies couldn't even "get it". Prince's so-called "b" material and this cut was considered one of them is all A GAME! Hardcore fans no what i mean...go through all the albums and there's always one or two gems that never made it to air waves....this guy is just plain legendary. peace

Not just a masterpiece, but also a gem hidden in the vast amount of other masterpieces of this era by Prince. Hopefully this will never be discovered and revisited by some crappy pop chic in need of an artistic inspiration. Or by their rapper friends.
