A tour of the EF-3 rated damage - estimated winds as high as 160 mph. Touring Reedsville, OH area and also seeing Belleville, WV where one man was killed. Estimated final path was up to 300 yards wide and several miles long. One of a group of tornadoes on Sept 16, 2010 from Athens County to Meigs into Wood County and Wirt County WV. VERY unusual for this region.

  • few miles down the road from me.

  • @MasterHively Your homeless?

  • The same storm that hit reedsville went through some rural areas in athens county I personally live in perry county and we got hit hard that day too.

What is really sad is a family that goes to our church was in the first tornado from below nelsonville it completely oblitterated some places and cut almost every tree off at like 50 ft one of the trees uprooted was bigger than me at 6'1 Our pastor died the day after while cleaning up he had a heart attack!! God Bless everyone and good luck!

  • Nice job Spencer. The local news hardly made it up this way. I'm always impressed with your crew and that you care about our area. Thanks.

  • @MrNauert Actually MrNauert, Gov. Strickland has "said" something. He personally called the facility where my wife works and asked "What do you need ME to do?" He was told "We need electricity, badly!" (this is an assisted living facility with elderly people needing care). In just a few hours the power was on. So, to me....enough was said.!

  • Don't worry, Governor Ted Strickland hasn't said a word! I've looked high and low and can't find a single instance of him discussing this disaster.I guess he is more worried about what Bill Clinton is giving speeches about.

Instead of "Where's Waldo" it should be "Where's Ted."

Ted, if you happen to read this, I use to be an adamant supporter until I realized you care more about yourself than the people who got you there.

Shame on you. It will be your own fault come November.

  • hit me in belleville im homeless and i know the guy who died =[

  • i live in meigs county and it just went over our house thankfully.
