Thực hiện hoàn toàn theo phương pháp thủ công, những ngọn trúc được chọn phải có kích thước nhỏ đều, màu trúc vàng tự nhiên. Những người thợ đồng thời cũng phải là hoạ sĩ, họ pha màu bằng tay, sau đó vẽ tỉ mỉ trên từng đoạn trúc để sau cùng kết nối thành bức tranh hoàn chỉnh

Những bức mành treo nơi cửa ra vào đã có cách đây rất lâu. Nhưng giờ đây bức mành ngày xưa đã được nâng cấp thành nghệ thuật tranh trúc.
