4/2/08: The Gettysburg cyclorama--a 19th-century painting longer than a football field--has a new home in the battlefield visitors center opening April 14. Part 2 of 3. (Video: Malcolm Jones, Jon Groat)
I first viewed this painting thirty years ago and I was not impressed. A recently had an opportunity to view it again in its new location and I was moved to tears. This is a must see for anyone and everyone. It is at the new visitor's center in Gettysburg, Pa.
This here painting was real fancy-like, and it sure was big. Aint no tellin' how much time it took to do a paintin' like this, but you can bet it took about as long as it takes to brew some sweet tea.
