JIN - LOST HEAVEN (L'arc~en~ciel cover)

18th release for the anime/jdrama theme song project, "Code C", and the 44th cover. This was done by request.
Still accepting requests.

This was anime 「鋼の錬金術師」(Fullmetal Alchemist)'s movie, 「劇場版鋼の錬金術師シャンバラを征く者」(FMA the movie: Conqueror of Shamballa)'s ED song.

Vocal cover as usual - all vocals were done by me.

Sorry I delayed the release date for a week due to the earthquake in Touhoku region in Japan on the Friday before the schedule release. Even though the recording was finished the week beforehand, I wasn't in the state to be worrying about my tiny existence when many others' lives are at stake and I was worrying about the well being of all the people I know there. Nor was the online world ready for anything of the sort either, so I decided to postponed the release date.

The song itself was the first time I've done L'arc~en~ciel covers online...so I'm frankly quite nervous about it. I've done laruku covers with almost all my session bands before so it's not the first to sing their songs, but it's without a doubt that Hyde's singing is unique and style differs from mines greatly. Nonetheless I think I gave it my best.

Recording was interesting. I recorded it a few days after my band's live while my voice was still a little coarse, so it gave it a bit of a "rougher" sound. It's been so long I kinda forgot how mixing went, but I think it was quite smoothly.
