Except one is digital and handled by the tv and the other is analog and done by the xbox. Not the same. Not a huge difference, but different.

@second2souless Yes, go to gamestop and they are about 10 bucks. Or, the expensive option is to go to gamestop and have them upgrade it to be compatible with HDMI. Good luck.
