I can appreciate the minimalist thing but SY ringing in my ears and this just doesn't cut the mustard.

in their favor sonic youth must be the hardest band to cover... and sonic youth's guitarist are one of a kind virtuosos both lee and thurston so they covered what they could.. the notes
they left behind all of that makes it a great unique song haha

@broaff2 If you kicked a metal bin it wouldn't sound like this. It would just sound like somebody kicking a metal bin. It wouldn't sound like a band playing a song. I'm not saying it would sound bad though.

Oh man, absolutely brill. Thank you for posting! Had ZERO high hopes when I saw "Aw bloody hell, another fucking recording off someone's mobile," and maybe it wasn't, but all the same, top gear. Mind you, I wish it didn't cut out though.
