Just a quick demonstration of the Roland Juno-D. I just purchased this synth a few weeks so I'm just getting used to it. I have yet to find any other video on youtube that demonstrates a bunch of the Juno-D's sounds...until now...Any requests, questions, or comments, leave them below!

  • I agree with 781230xy totaly. why do so many synth video's, alway's give us piano presets.?.The Roland Juno G, is an example. If you want piano, buy a piano.Must admit, ythe piano on this boared, are a million times better than the hyped up Juno G. If it's a synthesizer, let us have those wonderful, pads, bleeps, and arps. This guy can play, but it dosent tell us much about the synth. no disrespect, but thats what were here for. to me presets are ok, but true synths?.Thanks for posting LOL .

  • The juno-d is more of a want to be synth. It's more of a keyboard with nice presets that's cheap. If this were the microkorg or v-synth I'd understand why demonstrate piano presets on that. I plan on getting the Juno-Di next month, ill stay away from the piano presets on the next video i make!

  • In Pachelbel Canon in D did you use the sustain pedal.. or is an effect of the juno D?

  • Yeah I used the sustain pedal.

  • Can you assign chords to more than 1 sounds at the same time? Are the chords saved with the sound preset? And can you split the keyboard into several zones so you can use like 6 sounds at the same time at different parts of the keyboard?Thank you!! :)

  • I don't own this keyboard anymore, but if I remember correctly you can only split the keyboard into 2 sounds on different parts of the keyboard. Roland is coming out with a Juno-Di in September, its supposed to be improved from the Juno-D.

  • Isn't it a bit silly of Roland to use the Juno name for this? They could have used a bit more imagination and come up with a new name and kept the juno name for a new analog range with more reliability and some modern effects. I think its a wasted opportunity and modern keyboards are as dull as modern cars, they all look and sound the same. If they don't want to build analog then at least deliver us a set of vsti's covering the analog era and early digital era like Korg have done.

  • Thanks.

  • i'm geting the juno di. really nice demo in this video. youre really good at playing it to

  • Is it just normal if some keys don't sound as high as the rest??

  • I love my own Juno D. Hear me play mine on my site here "billybrachiosaurus" over and over again.

  • Splendid playing. So few demonstration videos display the proper context for the given samples. You are indeed wise, young Jedi. Roland should hire you to make their in-house demos.

  • so much more then pianos,,,,why arent u playing with the pads, drum kits, synths etc

  • how many voices does it have?

  • this is really amazing

  • whats the song called the one after Van Halen - Jump? and this is really cool

  • @maccagrabme no me parece que un teclado moderno sea para "divertirse", no es como un juguete que te gusta por un tiempo y despues te aburris, yo considero a un teclado como un instrumento, o una herramienta de trabajo. no un juguete

  • Oh !!!! so good!!!!
