  • Dear backwoodsninja I am the clown u are referring to in your comment... First of all I apologize to you if I offended you with my 12 step program comment that was not my intention. What I was trying to communicate to you is that I am so glad that contrary to AA the Gospel does not require me to spend the rest of my life declaring that I am an alcoholic. The bible tells us that when we truly come to Christ He ane He alone has the power to take me from being whatt I was and give me a brand new

  • @neferteristarz Amen brother marty! and even if a person can get help or clean off 12 steps, what does it profit a man to gain sobriety and lose his soul? Often times when I was trying the 12 step program, I'd replace my drug or alcohol problem with some other addiction. It wasn't until I turned to Christ and became born again that I was truly FREE and a new creation in Christ. Praise God for the newness of life He gives!

  • I'll take a 12 Step meeting over this clown any day.

  • @backwoodsninja why? Why not deal with the real issue which is sin. Alcoholism is just a symptom of the real problem.

  • amen! 12 step programs helps people but it dont deal with the real problem in us which is sin.

  • It is refreshing to see someone on youtube presenting Charismatics in a positive light. There is so much crazy stuff out here. But you guys have good discernment and proper doctrine. I think Jesus is proud of you.

  • @neferteristarz Have you done much research into addiction and alcoholism? There is more going on in the mind and body than it simply being sin. Consider something like cancer. If I had cancer, I would certainly pray, but I would also go to the doctor and get treatment for it. I've found AA to be 100% compatible with Christianity or any other faith that one professes.
