This is a fantastic cover. The vocals are deliciously subdued and the music is swimmy! But you should really REALLY redo this visuals.
My advice, make one film of yourself on instruments no singing, one film just of your face in front of a black curtain singing the whole thing, one the same but in profile, maybe some short clips of you clenching/unclenching fists, toes, arms, and some extreme close-up panaramas of your gizmos blinking and flashing. Then edit it together. It'd be sweet!

I think the idea of what you've done is FABULOUS! What would take it over the top is to add Simon's vocals to your music, or maybe even add his vocal's either under or over yours. Try it! I'll bet it's awesome!
