C'mon...to just hit the vocal in harmony to start the song...COLD!!! except for Denny's brief drum roll before the first bar of this song...is simply incredible...so talented...so pure...

@nimaside The Beach Boys held their own with the Beatles. Beatles were something new and a little different, (being from England) so they caught on with most of us kids, but so did the Kinks, The Animals, Jerry and the Pacemakers, The Rolling Stones, etc. When you've got TWO guys in a group of 4 like John Lennon and Paul McCartney though, it makes it hard for everyone else to keep up.

Four Seasons were popular when I was in high school, but I would have to say that the Beach Boys were America's most popular band at that time. Back in the '60s cars, girls, and surfing were very popular, and the Beach Boys nailed it.
