  • Did you buy your kayak with foot paddles, or did you add them as an accessory? I have a Pungo 120 that I paddle the old fashioned way and would like to add foot paddles. Thanks!

  • @fishin1111 Sharks really aren't a big concern up there even in a kayak. I've fished the bay bridge and in the ocean down in NC in kayaks and a much bigger potential problem is the weather and the sea. Your experience and how you have prepared your kayak are yourself are what will keep you safe on the water.

Hooking into a large fish that pulls your kayak is why you go kayak fishing!

  • nice kayak set up. I have one question. I have a boat, and I have fished the Chesapeake for 30 yrs. Sandy Point, actually the bridge is one of my fav. places to go to "free line" for trout, stripers, and blues when I'm on a slow day. I have caught MANY 3-4-5 even 6 ft. bull sharks, dog fish (sharks), dusky sharks, sand sharks and last yr. a 5 ft. tiger shark was pulled out by another angler! I was wondering, how safe do you feel and what if you hooked a large fish who could pull your kayak?
